Hi! I'm Aarandeep. I'm a queer, non-binary, Sikh, Punjabi designer and astrologer living in London. I use design as a way for empowerment, darkness and exploring identities. As a child born out of the diaspora, I love all my contradictions, edges and dreams.

In a world where South Asian-ness becomes vast and wide, I believe as queer South Asian people, we are rewriting and re-defining what our diasporic identities are. There is so much power in that and I want everyone to recognise how incredibly unique and amazing that is. We won't be silenced or erased, we'll only work towards being fierce, sensitively aware, and revolutionary. <3 This has been the basis for a lot of my work.

An on-going project with an aim to connect, represent, and allow us Queer South Asian people to tell our story. I interviewed different Queer South Asian people, and collated their words with an illustration. You can find the progress on my instagram account. I'm currently working on a zine where everyones stories will be available to inspire, connect and represent different queer and diasporic identities.

- Queer Punjabi Collective -

A collaboration with @queerpunjab, @queerpunjab asked LGBTQIA+ Punjabi's to describe their experiences being Queer and Punjabi. I collated our words together in a wall of resistance and love, where each word comes together and is the power to our collective healing. We're one community.
