A new year? Letting go and making space.

Open Minds Online Group - Dec 22

It’s become a yearly tradition for us at The Open Minds Project to have an end of year check in. The ‘holiday season’ is supposed to be a time when people have more time and are able to see people who are important to them. We know that it doesn’t always work out like this as not everyone has the opportunity to take time off from their responsibilities and not everyone has friends or family that they are able to or want to see.

We spent the 90 minutes talking to each other about what parts of 2022 we wanted to file away or delete from our lives and what new things we wanted to welcome into our lives in 2023. We used the idea of having two different boxes, one that we will store out of sight (the things from 2022) and one that we will keep in view (our wishes for 2023). It was a lovely thing to be part of and we’re grateful for all the people that shared their hopes and wishes in the space.

So that’s us for 2022! The Open Minds Project wishes you a safe, joyful and love-filled year for 2023. We have big plans for the year and hope to see you at one of our events at somepoint in 2023!

With warm wishes,

The Open Minds Project

We meet on the last Wednesday of each month and if you want to join us at an Open Minds Meeting, please visit the Events page on our website.
